If you struggled with kicking the cream/creamer/half and half with your coffee, or you miss your favorite Latte or Flat White from Starbucks, then you will absolutely LOVE this recipe.
This comes to you after almost a year of tweaking and playing with ingredients...my measurements are exact, so follow them to a tea and tweak the sweetness to your liking (I don’t prefer a sweet coffee)
Be sure to share this with all your lactose intolerant/non dairy friends as well!! They will hug you for it ;)
Ingredients: Makes 1 serving
1 cup strong black coffee
2 Tbsp cashews (or 10 to be very specific), raw (soak if not using a high powered blender like a vitamix)
1 tsp refined coconut oil
1/4 tsp pure maple syrup OR 1/2 date (soak if not using a high powered blender like a vitamix)
1/2 tsp vanilla pinch sea salt
Start by brewing a fresh cup of coffee. Place all ingredients in a blender and process at a high speed for about 30 to 60 seconds. Long enough for the cashews to be completely broken down and smooth. Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy!
