Over 8 years ago, when my 3-year-old daughter lay on a hospital bed, IV's in both arms, half-conscious, my life changed in that moment. With a diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes and Celiac Disease, I knew things would never be the same.
Being her biggest advocate, I made it my mission to learn how to best feed her so she could live a very long and healthy life. I finally found my motivation to dive headfirst into what it meant to truly be "healthy".
The problem was I was swimming in a sea of online information that had me feeling even more stressed than before. My self-care was in the toilet, my work/life balance was completely out of whack and my home (although tidy), was completely unorganized!
