Over 6 years ago, when my 3-year-old daughter lay on a hospital bed, IV's in both arms, half-conscious, my life changed in that moment. With a diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes and Celiac Disease, I knew things would never be the same.
Being her biggest advocate, I made it my mission to learn how to best feed her so she could live a very long and healthy life. This new shift, however, not only started to heal her, but myself as well! A chronic yo-yo dieter for over 15 years, I had never taken the time to get my own health sorted out. I finally found my motivation to dive headfirst into what it meant to truly be "healthy".
The problem was I was swimming in a sea of online information that had me feeling even more stressed than before. To top it off I couldn't find any easy, kid-friendly recipes, or meals without an ingredient list a mile long. Who has the time!?
My approach is simple, fast and very realistic for our busy lives.
I CAN and WILL help you cut through the noise and begin the process of healing & health...it's kinda my thing! ;-)
